Beyond the water, families can enjoy quad biking through local villages and farmland, horseback riding along the riverbanks, or visiting the Source of the Nile gardens for a boat ride to the exact spot where the river begins its journey to Egypt. Heading further east towards the Kenyan border, the landscape rises into the foothills of Mount Elgon. The highlight here is Sipi Falls, a series of three stunning waterfalls.
